French rabbit is an innovative concept – quality vintage wines packed in practical and environmentally-friendly Tetra Prisma which has been named "ePod"® - e for environment, ecology and economy. It is available in 1 litre, 500 ml and 250 ml sizes.
Successfully launched in Canada (August 2005) and in the United States (February 2006) with over more than 2 million units sold, French rabbit was recently introduced in Europe in Denmark (November 2006) and France (March 2007), and in Asia in Japan (February 2007).
At the 2006 SIAL (International trade show for food industry professionals) which awards the most commercially successful innovative products, French rabbit received 2 Sial d’Or awards, one for the Alcoholic Beverages category (all countries included) and the second for its launch in Canada.

Tetra Prisma is made with wood from forests that are sustainably managed. Wood is the ultimate in renewable resources, offering a real ecological alternative to all fossil fuel-based materials which have a limited lifespan. Moreover, French rabbit’s packaging is an excellent source of paper fibres that can be recycled to create a wide range of finished products. Finally, its compactness reduces the number of trucks needed to transport the wine, thereby reducing CO2 emissions.
And to go as far as possible, Boisset has decided to turn over a portion of its profits in every country French rabbit is sold to a environmentally-oriented organization: American Forests in the United States, Wildlife Preservation in Canada and Animal Protection in Denmark. In France, Boisset will lend its support to the Surfrider Foundation, known for its actions to keep coastlines clean, and to its mountain counterpart, Mountain Riders, in the interest of keeping nature clean.

Unbreakable and compact, French rabbit is easily transported, shelved and stored – when it is empty, it can be completely flattened out. It chills three times faster than a classic bottle and its screw cap makes it easy to open and pour. Finally, its light weight is a big plus, allowing it to be taken and enjoyed anywhere… picnics, outdoor barbecues, buffets, and so on.

Produced in the South of France, French rabbit wines are soft and fruity and go well with all sorts of dishes. Sun kissed, full-bodied and enjoyable while young, they are highly aromatic with and incredibly pleasing on the palate.
French rabbit has received many awards, notably at the Chardonnay du Monde and Vinalies Internationales competitions and has been recognized by ANIVIT and the Guide Hachette.

French rabbit is available in 1l, 500ml and 250ml sizes in Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon.
