Louis Bouillot was founded in 1877 by Jean Bouillot in Nuits-Saint-Georges, and soon turned its manufacturing to the creation of sparkling Burgundies. Since then these festive bubbles have become its vocation and reason for living.
 
Louis Bouillot is recognised as the specialist in Crémants de Bourgogne. The house has been rewarded with a number of medals and awards which have contributed to its international renown.
 
The organoleptic qualities of the Crémants de Bourgogne Louis Bouillot are reinforced by their noble, elegant labelling that contributes to the image of a producer of quality wines.
 
In 1999, for sheer pleasure, Louis Bouillot launched headlong into the exploration of taste on three levels: recreating the champagne-type wines of the twenties (taking the Burgundy appellations as a starting point), making wines from the French varietals into sparkling wines, and exploring ancient ancestral methods. The Mousseux Virtuels® were born.
 

The world’s first ever space dedicated to sparkling wine. The Imaginarium, La Magie
des Bulles, inaugurated in the spring of 2006, was opened by Louis Bouillot in
Nuits-Saint-Georges to propose a fun interactive, experience for the senses
about sparkling wines. It appeals to all the family and proposes varied experiences,
from the scientific mysteries of bubbles to a tasting session that will enable amateurs to perfect their knowledge.
